A Wise Man Joke



A wise man once sat in an audience and cracked a joke. Everybody laughs like crazy. After a moment, he cracked the same joke again. This time, less people laughed. He cracked the same joke again and again. When there was no laughter in the crowd, he smiled and said: You can't laugh at the same joke again and again, but why do you keep crying over the same thing over and over again?

If I am right, then things will get progressively worse over time, not better. We thus only have one hope and one solution to be able to get through all of this – and that one hope and solution is to completely rely on the Lord like you have never done before. The Lord is now going to be our only hope, our only refuge, and our only protection in these very trying times that will be coming all of our ways in the future.

If you are not truly grafted into the Lord and really relying on His divine help and power to make it through these very tough times, then you may end up crashing and burning, losing everything you have worked so hard for over the years. Psalm 55:22 says “Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall not permit the righteous to be moved.”

నశించినదానిని వెదకి రక్షించుటకు మనుష్యకుమారుడు వచ్చెను . ఎప్పుడైనా ఎవరైనా తమ పాపక్షమాపణ నిమిత్తము సర్వలోక రక్షకుడైన యేసుని వెతుకుతుంటే.... వారు తెలుసుకోవలసిన విషయము ఏమిటంటే; యేసు కూడా వారి కోసము వెతుకుతున్నారు అని. చూడండి.... జక్కయ్య అనే వ్యక్తి ఉన్నారు.... ఈ జక్కయ్య యేసు కోసము వెతుకుచున్నారు; కానీ ఈ జక్కయ్యకి కూడా తెలియని విషయము ఏమిటంటే....? యేసు కూడా ఈ జక్కయ్య కోసమే వెతుకుతున్నారు. . . . అందుకే తన ముందు గుంపులు గుంపులుగా జనం ఉన్నా యేసు జక్కయ్య దగ్గరికి వచ్చి ఆగారు. అంతకుముందు యేసుని జక్కయ్య చూడలేదు.... వారు ఇద్దరు అంతకుముందు ఎప్పుడూ కలవలేదు.... కానీ; యేసయ్యకు తెలుసు యెరికొలో మరోక ఆత్మ రక్షణ కోసం ఎదురుచూస్తుందని.... యేసయ్యకు తెలుసు అతను జనముచేత పాపిగా పిలువబడే సుంకపుగుత్తదారుడని.... యేసుక్రీస్తు వారికి తెలుసు అతను పొట్టివాడని; అందుకే చెట్టు ఎక్కాడని, అతని పేరు జక్కయ్య అని. . . . అందుకే వారు ఇద్దరు అంతకుముందు ఎప్పుడూ కలవకపోయినా యేసయ్య అతనిని పేరు పెట్టి పిలిచారు. జక్కయ్య కోసము వెతుకుతూ అతను దాగివున్న చోట ఆగి మరీ పట్టుకున్నారు. అక్కడి ప్రజలు జక్కయ్య గురించి ఏమి అనుకుంటున...

So this past week she did some research on how a pearl becomes a pearl. To ensure that she was not falling for any urban legends, She asked Russ McMillan, her resident Marine Biologist, for assistance. Russ explained that a beautiful pearl begins as a fragment of broken shell, a sand grain, or even a parasite. Such an object enters an oyster’s shell and irritates its soft tissue. The irritant then gets covered and strengthened with layers of mother-of-pearl or nacre (NAY-ker). Over the course of time, a beautiful pearl develops. Similarly, the Bible teaches that every human starts out as an irritant.
